Brazil: Remembering Pablo, Ana Carolina & Ronald

On 1 June, Viva Rio (Brazil) and IANSA members in other countries celebrated the lives of Pablo Dreyfus, Ana Carolina Rodrigues and Ronald Dreyer, three prominent members of the global movement on small arms who died in the Air France crash a year ago. Pablo was a world expert on arms trafficking and gun violence, working as a research at Viva Rio. Ana Carolina also worked at Viva Rio in the field of children and armed violence. Ronald was a Swiss diplomat and coordinator of the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence and Development. Viva Rio held a memorial which highlighted Pablo’s impressive legacy in the field of small arms control.
