Implementing the EU Common Position on arms brokering

The new report “Implementation of the EU Common Position on the Control of Arms Brokering” looks at the provisions that Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Spain and UK have included in their legislations on the control of arms brokering in order to comply with the EU Common Position. The report discusses grounds for refusals, revocations and exemptions; presents procedures required by the state and brokers for record-keeping; and gives examples of types of sanctions that can be used against violators of arms brokering controls. The report was written Paul Holtom from SIPRI and published by SEESAC. More
