Australia: Campaigners oppose changes to Tasmania gun laws

The Gun Control Coalition in Australia is concerned about proposed changes to the Tasmanian Firearms Act 1996 after the government began a public consultation which could lead to a review. Such changes could include downgrading the classification of pump action shotguns, and lowering the age limit for recreational shooters to 12.
